Graveside services for Ray E. Johnson, age 72, of Mineola are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at the Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery with Father Edward Baggett officiating. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home of Lindale.

Mr. Johnson was born June 7, 1938 in Cedar Lane, Texas the son of the late William Benton Franklin Johnson and Vela (Jones) Johnson. He passed away Saturday, June 12, 2010 at his residence. Mr. Johnson lived in Mineola since 2005 moving there from Minnesota. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Marie Johnson on May 14, 2009.

He is survived by his sisters, Flo Ray of Richardson, Jo Rutland of Stockdale, Texas; brother, Jim Johnson of Mission Viejo, California; step children, Mona Bevan of Mineola, Cody Latte of Clear Lake, California and Tray Latte of Greenville.
