Graveside services for Malcolm R. Boozel, age 79 of Wills Point are scheduled for 10:00 AM Friday, July 2, 2010 at the Dover Cemetery, with the Rev. James Cheatham officiating. Services are under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge funeral home of Lindale.

Mr. Boozel was born March 12, 1931 in French Creek, New York the son of the late Homer McKinley and Julia Ann (McGirl) Boozel. He passed away Sunday, June 27, 2010 in a Tyler hospital. Mr. Boozel lived in the Dallas area for several years before moving to the Wills Point area in 1985. He was a veteran of the Korean War and retired from Zerox Company after 26 years of service.

Mr. Boozel was preceded in death by brothers, Tom Boozel, Willie Boozel, and Alvin Boozel.

He is survived by his wife, Sallie Boozel of Wills Point; daughter, Sara Bowers and husband Bill of Wills Point; step-children, Tom Gates of Wylie, Christi Gates of Dallas; brothers, George and Veo Boozel; and 6 grandchildren.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
