Funeral services for William Harvey "Bill" Morris age 60 of Tyler are scheduled for 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 20, 2010 in the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Bro. James Cheatham officiating. Interment will follow in the Sabine Cemetery.

Mr. Morris was born April 4, 1950 in Lindale the son of the late Lawrence and Goldia (Wilkins) Morris. He passed away Friday, July 16, 2010. Mr. Morris was born and raised in the Lindale area and had lived in the Lindale and Tyler area all his life. He was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam War.

Mr. Morris was preceded in death by a brother, James Morris.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Barbara Morris of Tyler, daughters, Karen McCartney and husband Darryl of Whitehouse, Kim Sparks and husband, Chris of Whitehouse; brothers, Ben Morris of Lindale, Larry Morris of Kilgore; sisters, Louise Walden and Carolyn Cortes both of Kilgore, Laura Daughtry and husband Max of Tyler; and grandchildren, Courtney McCartney and Lindsey, Haylee, and Bryce Wilson.

Pallbearers will be Paul Mike Gibson, Mitchell Strange, Benji Morris, Rachel Blair, Richard Malone, and Tony Vickers.
