Carolyn Crane Fountain

Carolyn Crane Fountain passed peacefully July 18, 2010 in Tyler Texas. She was born April 15, 1928 in Jonesboro Arkansas.
Carolyn lived most of her life in McGehee where she and Pete Crane owned Crane's Grocery for almost 10 years. She lived her remaining years in Texas close to her daughters in Houston and Hideaway.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Pam and Darrel Walters, Hideaway; grandsons Darrell Lee Walters, Arlington , Bain Walters, Tyler; great-grandchildren Lexy and Lyndi Walters, Arlington; daughter and son-in-law Donna and Don Adkins, Sargent; granddaughter, Donette Manley, Manvel ; brothers Gene Woodsmall, Nixa, Missouri; Paul Woodsmall, Cullman, Alabama.
Visitation with family and friends was held at Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home in Lindale, Wednesday, July 21, 2010. Graveside services were held for immediate family in McGehee on July 22, 2010.
Carolyn always felt that McGehee was home and cherished her time there with some of the closest friends she ever had.
