In celebration of the life of Mr. Les Farmer, age 82, of Hideaway, Texas funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 31, 2010 in the Hideaway Lake Community Church with Bro. Jack Conley and Bro. Herschel Sanders officiating. Private family interment will follow under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Directors in Lindale. Mr. Farmer died Wednesday, July 28, 2010 in Hideaway. He was born on November 8, 1927 in Terrell, Texas, the son of Lester Laroe, Sr. and Edna Lucinda Wright Farmer. Mr. Farmer served in the United States Army during World War II and graduated from Texas A & M University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business. He retired as sales manager in 1989 for Gifford-Hill in Dallas.

Mr. Farmer is survived by his Wife, Betty Farmer of Hideaway, Texas; Children: Lise Farmer of Austin, Texas & Hal Farmer of Argyle, Texas; Step-daughter, Donna Liebbe and husband, Bill of Lindale, Texas; and by 6 Grandchildren, Carson Roberts, Chase Roberts, Taylor Farmer, Woody Farmer, Kelley Liebbe and Jeremy Liebbe.

Serving as pallbearers will be John Holder, Tom Hall, R. A. Howell, Woody Achauer, Duane Spaeth and W. A. Jobe.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday evening at the Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home in Lindale.
